Have you been feeling stagnant, unfocused, or unfulfilled? Do you want to make strides towards career and personal success? Are you ready to take your life to the next level? Life coaching could be the answer.
Let’s work together!
I’m Dr. Susan Pazak, and I provide life coaching for people all across the United States. I work with individuals, couples, and businesses to help you make progress towards goals and achieve greatness.
Life coaching is different from therapy. This article helps explain the pros and cons of both so that you can determine which option would be the best fit for you. If you are interested and ready to get started, contact me today!
What is life coaching?
Life coaching is a lot like consultation and mentorship.
Unlike therapy, life coaching has no treatment regimen and no diagnosis. We don’t work on reducing emotional problems or healing from past trauma. Instead, it is about helping you find your path to success. It’s about taking your life to the next level, rather than restoring health and wellness.
However, much like therapy, life coaching can help you find solutions to your problems.
Some common issues addressed through life coaching include:
- Lack of clarity with career decisions
- Challenges in management and leadership
- Problems with career advancement
- Communication issues (e.g., difficulty with assertiveness)
- Difficulty with accountability and following through with goals
- And more
Whether you are the CEO of a successful business, on your second or third career, or just starting out on your path, life coaching can help.
How can life coaching help?
My coaching works in three main phases.
Phase one, you and your life coachwork to define clear, achievable goals that act as steppingstones to your path to success. This is such an important step, as many people tend to set lofty, vague, and otherwise unhelpful goals, thus setting themselves up for failure. You may have the long-term goal of owning a successful business or publishing a bestselling novel, but dreams like these can only happen if you plan accordingly.
Phase two, life coaching provides a space to work through barriers to goal achievement. If you want to work your way up in the company, but you struggle with people skills, life coaching can help you learn to relate better with others. If you can’t keep your schedule straight or miss important deadlines, life coaching can help you organize and regain control. If you struggle with confidence and managing others, it guides you towards becoming a stronger leader.
Phase three, life coaches act as your accountability partner and advocate. You get to lean on an expert to help keep you on track and focused as you work towards your goals. The support of a life coach can help you maintain motivation and drive, even when things get tough. Along the way, we will continue to reevaluate, set new goals, and figure out what’s next.
A few other things it can help with include:
- Develop a business plan
- Achieve financial stability
- Set and achieve goals
- Find your niche
- Solve organizational problems
- Develop stronger communication skills
- Enhance your leadership style
You deserve a chance to reach your goals, and coaching can help make it happen.
