Goal Setting and Attainment

HOW I CAN HELP

Dr. Susan’s goal setting and attainment program provides assistance and guidance developing goals and a plan to reach your goals.

Many successful people write down their dreams and goals. Remember if you can see it, you are more likely to take action to to achieve it.

If you are having difficulty reaching your goals take these steps

1. What am I trying to avoid?

2. What do I want?

3. What is the next step I have to take?

4. Repeat the process.

So if you are trying to avoid being an addict all of your life, that would be the answer to number 1, “I do not want to be an addict all my life”, then what do I want? “I want to be free from addiction?”. What is the next step? “Call for an appointment to get a plan to conquer addiction”. Then repeat, adding to step number 3 until your goal is reached.

Below is an example format to write freely, listen to your spirit and there is no such thing as a wrong dream or goal. Don’t hold back list your wildest dreams, you are free to go after them, if you choose. Date the list and make sure your list is flexible and can be modified to adjust to life circumstances and situations as they unfold.
